Wishing Star is a Flicka which our friends Elizabeth and Stefan picked up in Seattle. Now they have her home, and the work is just getting started. (This is an excellent way to test a relationship.)
After much discussion, and ALOT of elbow grease we did manage to chip off the layers of bottom paint with putty knifes, thus decreasing the amounts of toxic dust we were exposed to. (And yes I wore a mask too, this is just a "posing" photo!! No dust being generated. Stefan is rather nerotic about that environmental exposure stuff!)
